Tim door stop for the Fiat Ducato
The sliding door is brilliant because it instantly makes you feel at one with nature. However, there are also situations where it simply opens up too much. And that’s exactly why there are so many doorstops available – and the ‘Tim’ model is one of the most versatile. Tim’s LockBlock was unveiled at the ‘Campfire of Ideas’ event at CMT 2024, and together with Tim I’ve refined the design; it’s now available in the shop as a ready-to-install version.
The plastic component won’t last forever, as it’s designed to act as a sacrificial part to prevent damage to the door.

I rely on Prusament PETG for all components that need to be sturdy and flexible. For example, clamping pieces. Printing with this material is very reliable, and it isn’t as expensive as other materials. That’s why I tend to use it for almost everything, provided that structural rigidity isn’t required or would even be a hindrance. Its good manufacturing properties have a positive impact on the price. The high-gloss finish looks more vibrant than other matt materials.
