There’s always a good reason to have a net in a panel van to turn small nooks into useful storage space. These nets are manufactured by a partner company in Germany and have already proved their worth around the seat console. However, this product can be used anywhere in the motorhome.
The nets are available in two sizes and with several mounting options:
Size M – 23–29 cm (22 cm when loose); recommended: 25
cm Size L – 29–38 cm (28 cm when loose); recommended: 33 cm
Rear/concealed – Here, the screw is screwed into the bracket from the rear, which ensures the best possible hold. However, the thickness of the wood must be taken into account to ensure the screws do not protrude at the front. As a wide variety of screws can be used here, NONE are supplied. You will need 4mm screws that are 8–9mm longer than the thickness of the wood.
Front/visible – Simple front-facing installation with visible screws, which are included in the delivery.
Side/visible – Same as front assembly, but oriented to the side.
Important: The clamping force increases with every centimetre, and the amount of force the screws can withstand depends entirely on how they are secured. The ‘L’ net can also be stretched by 45 cm, but the screws in the wood cannot withstand this. Similarly, when loading, care must be taken as the forces on the screws increase significantly.
