Seat console flap for Ducato/Boxer/Jumper/Movano/Proace
This flap fits under the driver’s and front passenger’s seats in the Fiat Ducato and closes at the front using a magnet from the rear.
The flap is available in ‘hinge’ and ‘guide hook’ versions, each with or without a flap. With the hinge version, the flap is securely attached at the bottom and can be folded open. The ‘guide hook’ version features a plug-in guide at the bottom, which means the flap can be removed. In response to a specific request from the community, there is now also a version that is held in place by magnets alone, although this is really only suitable for emergency use (in my view). In every version, the flap is held in place at the top by magnets.
If you opt for a version with a flap, it is made from grained ASA and is 4mm thick. It may seem a bit wobbly at first, but due to the tubular construction, it mustn’t be too rigid, as the structure isn’t perfectly ‘flat’.
There are two sizes, depending on how much space is still available beneath the flap. This was necessary because motorhomes have different floor layouts.

I rely on Prusament PETG for all components that need to be sturdy and flexible. For example, clamping pieces. That’s why I tend to use it for almost everything, provided that structural rigidity isn’t required or would even be a hindrance.
