This air vent redirects the airflow from a standard Truma air vent. The ‘air deflector’ clicks into place in the existing groove and can be rotated freely. The ‘throttle valve’ must be removed first. The air deflector can be removed quickly and easily by applying light pressure on both sides.
With this model, the air is not deflected by 90°C, so as not to overheat the veneer on the furniture. Furthermore, the airflow itself is not reduced. Please refer to the video for further details and safety instructions.
The PA6C component feels very rough to the touch and isn’t as stylish as the ASA version. However, PA6C can withstand temperatures of over 180°C and causes fewer problems in this respect. The rough surface also makes it more difficult to remove from the clamp. Therefore, be sure to also take a look at the ‘slotted’ version. The material is expensive and the printers suffer greatly during production, which is why I’ve now had to increase the price. Even attempting to have it manufactured more cheaply in small batches would have ended up being significantly more expensive.
