Water filter holders (ALB, Knaus, BWT, bluuwater)
An ALB filter system is good, and the filter cartridge housings are sturdy and well-made. This bracket secures the filters in the motorhome, as they are too heavy to be fitted without it.
Following some material testing, there is now a new version which, in addition to clamping, uses a rubber ring to apply tension. This keeps the filter securely in place even on Swedish roads and doesn’t break so easily due to the high tension. For a combined ALB double filter, you need two of these holders, as one alone would not be strong enough.
New 09/2025: This bracket can be securely fixed in place centrally using a screw. It can also be fitted using cable ties. Furthermore, it fits into a multiAnker. This means there is a single bracket suitable for multiple installation locations.

I rely on Prusament PETG for all components that need to be sturdy and flexible. For example, clamping pieces. Printing with this material is very reliable, and it isn’t as expensive as other materials. That’s why I tend to use it for almost everything, provided that structural rigidity isn’t required or would even be a hindrance. Its good manufacturing properties have a positive impact on the price. The high-gloss finish looks more vibrant than other matt materials.
